Size? Quality? Shipping? ... OK, OK, and Not OK. Jun 25, 2010 Before you buy this, consider the following.
If you are taller like myself (6-1), understand that the cut is shorter than I would have liked. The sleeves are plenty long, but the X-Large jacket itself falls just a little below the waist.
The material is quality grade and not too light. However, the stitching on one of the velcros was unraveling and I had to sew it back in to place.
I made the mistake of using "expedited" shipping since I needed it for a trip. Paying $17.49 was a complete waste of money. Turns out, standard shipping at $7.98 would have arrived only one day later. Live and learn.
Despite all this, it's a good jacket if you are not too tall, don't mind sewing, and don't need shipping "expedited"
Excellent quality, amazing price, but way oversized Jun 24, 2010 After an extensive search for a basic windbreaker with a hood and pockets (low expectations)under $40 (apparently delusional), I snapped this windbreaker right up upon seeing the price, reading the specs on all its features, and considering the reviews. After it arrived -- very quickly -- I was glad I had gone with it. The fabric is light but not flimsy, and the hood is the nifty collar-zip kind. I only wish I had gone with the size L instead of XL. I'd wanted to be sure I'd be comfortable even with layers underneath. I could put a whole other person underneath and have room left! Some reviews had warned of this, but at least one said the sizing was correct. It was the specification on the order form, that this was a WOMEN's size XL, that sold me on XL. More like XXL. But, for me, it's not a large problem (it's an extra large one - ha), because I don't intend to use it as a fashion statement -- just to keep comfy in an open car. But I do look a little ridiculous. And I'd better keep my seat belt tight so I don't take off like a big kite. Other than that, this is an exceptional value.
Waterproof jacket Jun 24, 2010 Really like the product and it was as good as the Amazon reviews. It arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I continue to enjoy my purchases from Amazon.

Turfer Stormbreaker Mar 26, 2010 The stormbreaker rain coat repeals wet snow and rain very well, light jacket very suitable for spring and summer use. Only drawback is the light color for what I use the jacket for, it gets dirty very easly. For dirty environments I would recommend a dark color like black. Brighton, Colorado

Good value Feb 01, 2010 Pros: Lightweight, nice texture, handy attached stow-away hood, effective closures on all points, windproof, waterproof (see cons),
Cons: Jacket was waterproof until it was washed. A light spray of silicon restores waterproof qualities. I spray the jacket outdoors so the slippery overspray does not end up on the floor in the house.
